One of the loftiest (no pun indented) addresses in San Diego would
be a home in Mission Hills. This area of beautifully restored homes
is home to about 31,000 residents. How lucky they are!
Many of these homes have beautiful views of San Diego Bay. Streets
tend to be very hilly – the whole area is kept impeccable
by its prideful owners. This happens to be one of my favorite residential
areas of San Diego!
The original homes were the original homes of many of the San Diego
pioneers Most of the single-family homes run in the millions. Some
of the better streets include Pringle, Guy, Torrance, etc., and
the whole area backs up to a very little and very attractive park,
Mission Hills Park. I rarely see it being used.
Access is via the I-5, Washington Street and the well known touristy
area of Old Town is very close. Need to pick someone up at the airport?
Figure you’ll be there in less than 5 minutes…plus these
homes are really not affected by the airport noise since the flight
path is well south of Mission Hills.
